The Morton Memorial Plaza is located in downtown Morton at 300 S. Main Street. Commercial Irrigation was chosen to do the water feature and irrigation for the Memorial. The Plaza is a beautiful addition to the Village; it is a location where one can relax and soak up the sites of downtown. There is a small children’s play area, tables and benches for small gatherings, and a public restroom. The Plaza is utilized for events during the year and provides free wireless internet.
Commercial Irrigation is honored to have been chosen to install this massive irrigation system at Dayton National Cemetery. This historic cemetery located in Dayton, OH, was established in 1867 as the permanent burial site for residents of the Central Branch of the National Asylum for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers in 1867. It is one of 11 federal cemeteries affiliated with the system of National Homes for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers.
NATIONAL CEMETERY ADMINISTRATION IRRIGATION SITE VISIT SUMMARY. Site Visit Conducted and Summary Prepared By Andy Slack, NCA National Irrigation Engineer Site Visit Conducted and Summary Prepared By Andy Slack, NCA National Irrigation Engineer. I attended the initial irrigation pre-construction meeting for the irrigation installation in April and was very impressed with the knowledge and personnel of the irrigation subcontractor for the job – Commercial Irrigation & Turf (CIT) out of Peoria, Illinois. Both the company, and the Irrigation Manager, Jim Cassidy, have a lot of experience in large turf/golf course type irrigation installation based on their web site and on references from the irrigation industry I checked with throughout the Midwest. The pictures and descriptions of the work being performed by CIT that have been sent each week from Jacobs Engineering have been evidence of good quality work.
